Dancers Shape: Healthy Fast Food on a Budget

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.

So I was sitting in class when a group began talking about this new food trailer off MLK and Rio Grande, and how healthy and reasonably priced it is. I just had to check this out! So I went over with some friends and sure enough there was Conscious Cravings’ trailer. I ordered the Spicy Chickpea Wrap on wheat…it was amazing and tasted so fresh. And that’s not the best part…it was only $5! I mean that’s a price that would put a smile on any college student, I mean lets face it most of us are always on a strict budget and lack the time to always cook at home or in our dorms. I have been back a couple more times and tried other menu items like their Strawberry Banana smoothie…YUM! This is a great place to attend if you are beginning a healthy diet or are a vegetarian. The people who work there are also very friendly and they have a nice shady area outside to sit. So next time, after a run or visit to Dancers Shape (cough*), be sure to stop by at Conscious Cravings and end your workout on a good note with a delicious wrap or smoothie. With this trailers help you will be on your way to getting that great figure you have been wanting. If you have any questions about other healthy restaurants or snack options just comment below! I am happy to help you out as I am right there with you on keeping a healthy weight.
