Name: Brian Bogart

Year: Senior

Major: Theatre and Dance – Acting focus with Business Foundations

Hometown: Austin, Texas

HC Texas: What extracurricular activities are you involved in?

Brian Bogart: Being an acting major I obviously dabble in acting and I enjoy both stage and film. I also spend time doing stand-up comedy, doing IM sports, working for the TSTV Sports department, and I do some work sometimes as a freelance writer.

HCTX: What are your plans for after college?

BB: I want to get a good job somewhere in Austin so I can stay floating while I shoot films here, and build my resume while I plan my next move to further explore my career options.

HCTX: Pick one: Tiff’s Treats or Amy’s Ice Cream?

BB: Tiff’s Treats. I’m not a big sweets guy but I’ll take chocolate chip cookies any day over ice cream. Although I’ve had many friends who worked at Amy’s before and that is some damn good ice cream.

HCTX: What’s your favorite place on campus?

BB: Darrell K. Royal Stadium on a Saturday.

HCTX: What’s the first thing you notice about girls?

BB: I look for confidence more than anything else and it’s usually pretty easy to spot which girls have it. I also appreciate a girl with a good smile.

HCTX: What are your top five most played Pandora stations?

BB:  Kid Cudi, Under the Boardwalk, Sublime, Wagon Wheel, and The Strokes.

HCTX: What’s your idea of a perfect date?

BB: I enjoy cooking so I usually like to cook for a girl and it also makes me look awesome. I’m also not above just taking a girl to the Local Pub and Patio and playing some rounds of pool or Big Buck Hunter with her.

HCTX: What else should people know about you?

BB: You should come see me in Alpha Psi Omega (theater fraternity)’s production of Spring Awakening! Performances are March 8-10.
