Collegiettes, it’s that time of year again! The holidays are right around the corner. Along with spending time with family, cozy days indoors, and hearty meals, many of us are looking forward to holiday shopping. Whether you like to brave the crowds of Black Friday or wait for Cyber Monday, holiday shopping takes planning and patience. Here are a few apps that will make the process easier.

iSpending

How many times has this happened: You’ve found the perfect gift for someone special, and you slip a little something extra in the basket for yourself (especially if that something is on sale!). Sound familiar?

It can be hard to say no to purchases when the price is right. And when you’re trying to stick to a budget, a little something extra here and there adds up quickly. The iSpending app helps you track your income and spending, allowing you to categorize transactions under different categories. Spending summaries can be generated on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, giving you a clear picture of your finances.

Price Checker SAVE

No one likes to pay for an item that they can get cheaper elsewhere. But you don’t want to visit a bunch of stores to compare prices.

Before you get in line to buy that beautiful silk shirt for your mom or best-selling book for your best friend, make sure you’re getting the best deal. The Price Checker SAVE app allows you to scan barcodes and compare prices at other stores. You can even access hours of operation and whether the item is in stock!

Eyeona

Between crowded stores and a to-do list a million miles long, you don’t have time to monitor the prices of every item on your gift list.

Eyeona can help you monitor your purchases even after you’ve removed the tags. After scanning your receipts, Eyeona will alert you when an item drops in price or goes on sale. That way, you’ll be able to recoup the difference.
