Hi everyone! Earth Day is almost here! Earth Day, April 22nd, is focused on promoting clean living and a healthy, sustainable habitat for people and wildlife alike. So, here’s a few fun ideas and activities for you and your friends to do in celebration:

• Bouquet Making
Our HC chapter had a super cute bouquet making social! All you need is some flowers, mason jars, and twine/ribbon.

• Clean Up Plastic in Your Local Campus or Park
Go on a walk, take a trash bag, and do a cleanup. Make sure to recycle any plastic that you find!

• Conserve Water
Avoid overwatering your cute lil apartment plants by doing research on how much your plants really need (this can help avoid fungal disease)!

• Go Exploring
Take a hike! Explore nature and experience the beauty of the outdoors with your dog, family, or roommates/friends. (I still need to visit Enchanted Rock!)

• Make a Bird Feeder
This could be a fun roomie bonding activity, since they’re super quick and easy to assemble! You can make them out of popsicle sticks, milk cartons, coffee cans, tea cups, water bottles, and more.

• Invest in a Good Water Bottle
Take this as a sign to recycle all your leftover plastic bottles and finally invest in something more eco-friendly! You can use this as an excuse to buy that hydroflask you’ve been wanting for months!

In conclusion, here’s me at people who litter:
