The Philadelphia Museum of Art (aka PMA) is one of the most beautiful buildings, inside and out, in our pretty city of Philadelphia. But that’s not all — it is also one of the most significant art museums in the country and a must-see attraction in Philly.
The PMA is home to tons of insanely brilliant pieces of art and always hosts special exhibits, parties and events. Not to mention, my personal favorite part of the museum is their kick-ass social media team, who totally keeps up with current trends. Definitely check out their Instagram page!
Right now, for the whole month of October, there is a super cool student discount happening for only $20, and it’s a yearlong membership. The discount is available for all college students and is only available for the rest of this month. Stop by the PMA to get your student membership; you definitely do NOT wanna miss this, girl!
Along with this membership, and for a little bit of extra money, you can sign up to join the PMA’s “Young Friends” group. This is a group for young members of the PMA (21+) who get together to attend cool events, stay late for parties at the museum and meet like-minded people in the creative community.

Every Wednesday night at the museum is “pay what you wish” meaning, the whole museum is open late and you can pay $1 if that’s all you’ve got in your pocket (we get it girl, college budget is no joke).
And EVERY Wednesday night is free yoga at the museum (What DON’T they do?!) A yoga class taught by a local instructor is either held on the roof of the museum or in the galleries themselves.
