My loving dear

Please speak of me as if I were near

Remember the laughter and fun we’ve always had

Share the happy memories, hold them close

Please baby girl don’t let them fade

I’ll be the whisper in your ear

As the embracing winds draw you near

I long to put your racing mind at ease

To tell you it’s peaceful here and I am doing fine

Please don’t feel sad I couldn’t bring you here

I’ve closed my eyes and I am at rest,

In a place that is beautiful, I feel so blessed

Some days it will be a test, but remember me at my best.

Kissing your lips and holding you close

Although the days no longer seem the same

Don’t be afraid to whisper my name

I long to be in you’re loving thoughts and dreams

I know when you wake how real they must have seemed

But you long for me all the same

I am at peace and you are in dread

I’m sorry my dear for leaving you in such a mess

But lay your body back in bed

For the day is near

And it only get’s better from here

Because I am now your guardian angle

And all you have to do now is rest
