My Sun
You shine brightly, blessing the world with your light
Many are blessed by your presence
Your golden heart is pure like no other
But like the sun blessing the earth, I cannot reach you
I cannot hold you
I can only feel your warmth from afar
You are miles away, but thankfully I can still see you
You have helped me in ways you cannot know
I cover my sun in the sky and shade your light
The world becomes clearer, but you are gone
I withdraw my hand and accept your light
If I touch you, will I get hurt?
We live on different planes of existence
You remain high in the sky, sharing your shine
I will remain afar and admire your light
