Disco Ball Girl – A poem

Disco ball girl who lives down the hall,

How can I help you when you walk so tall?

Is it just me? Or am I crazy?

You light up the world with just one look.

Oh, disco ball girl,

Reflecting light,

With just one pass, I am blinded by your light

Your smile is beyond me,

But I can hear you at night

Your tears aren’t as quiet as you’d like

Oh, disco ball girl 

What’s got you so upset? 

I know it’s scary, but the world’s got your back

How can you be this nice? 

When you’re falling apart

Tell me your tricks, and I’ll tell you mine

Disco ball girl,

Keep your head up high 

Don’t let the light in your eyes disappear overnight

Oh, disco ball girl,

Can I bring you light?

You give so much to me, it’s only right

If you move on overnight,

I’ll notice the change 

Give me a chance, I’ll help you stay.
