Dear November,

You are October’s encore and December’s introduction.

You bring people together in celebration and bring smiles to faces.

But, this year in 2020, you are my worry.

What do you have in store for me, November?

What tragedies will I read on the news?

How many families will be broken?

I know it’s not your fault the world has come to this.

You could not have predicted this.

But please be kind to me.

Treat me well.

Be the best introduction into the year’s finale.

Help me make memorable times with my loved ones.

Bring cold weather for warm cuddles.

Let your time of thirty days be easy on weary shoulders and comfort to sad souls.

Be a beautiful November in a harsh year.

Be kind in an unforgiving time.

I’m rooting for you, November!

You have my support and hope.

Be a good encore for October.

Be a kind introduction to December.
