Every Female Needs These Facemasks in Their Life

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Susqu chapter.

I was recently sent a package from Freeman Beauty with all different kinds of face masks, and I was obsessed with them before I even tried them. I have used Freeman Beauty face masks previously and loved them, so when I got the opportunity through Her Campus’ Campus Trendsetters program to test more varieties out, I jumped at it! With the stress of finals coming up and the unpredictably changing weather, I’ve noticed my face becoming drier and more irritated. It was the perfect time, therefore, to get these masks in the mail!

The following are all the face masks I received:

Melting Sugar Matcha Ice Cream Face Mask – Pore Clearing

Cosmic Holographic Peel-Off Mask – Luminizing Rose Quartz

(As if I couldn’t love face masks more than I already do, they then come up with Holographic face masks. I mean, how cute is this packaging?! I just imagine myself looking like a unicorn with this on my face, but in all reality, I will probably still look like an alien with it on.)

Cosmic Holographic Peel-Off Mask – Hydrating Amethyst

Cosmic Holographic Peel-Off Mask – Balancing Moonstone

Hydrating Glacier Water + Pink Peony Gel Cream Mask (Anti-Pollution, leave-on mask instantly calms + softens for glowing skin)

Soothing Watermelon + Aloe Cooling Gel Mask (10-minute mask, instantly nourished + calms for refreshed skin)

Clearing Sweet Tea + Lemon Peel-Off Clay Mask (Easy-To-Peel Mask, instantly removes impurities + tones for radiant skin)

I’ve only tried one face mask so far: Melting Sugar Matcha Ice Cream Face Mask. I was most excited about this one because its packaging was different from all the others! The product was inspired by ice cream and has a fresh, minty, but not overwhelming, smell. It was easy to put on because it squeezes nicely out of the package so you can control how much you use. There are bits of matcha in the mask, but they are small, and the rest of the mask is clear – you can’t see it on your face. At first it felt like lotion, but over time it began to tighten on my face. This mask is supposed to be pore clearing, which I really need! I can’t tell how well it’s worked yet, but my skin feels softer and revitalized. I would definitely recommend this product and hope to use it again soon!

I love that I got a mix of masks in my package. I typically just use a cream mask that you apply like lotion rather than sheet masks because you can get more use out of the others. I am excited to try them all, but don’t want to dry out my face by using a different one every day! I hope to write an article in the future reviewing each of these masks once I’ve tried them all, so stay tuned!
