Remember that reality T.V. show that started ten years ago? The one that followed a bunch of Italians- Americans and all they did was drink and party? It was the most loved reality T.V. show of the decade and it all started on the Jersey Shore. Everyone enjoyed watching what antics the cast would get into on every vacation whether it be fights, drinking or hookups. For years after it ended, the world asked for more. They wanted to see where these people were six years after the show concluded its final season. Now, MTV has released that they will be doing a reunion special: The Jersey Shore Family Vacation and it premieres April 5th, 2018. Here is what you can expect from the upcoming season:
1. The old catchphrases are back and so are some new ones!
During its six-season run, the show generated many catchphrases. From “It’s T-shirt time!” to Pauly D.’s “Cabs are here!” and this new season will not disappoint according to Vinny, one of the new catchphrases will be “Sprialing”. We don’t know what that means yet, but if it’s from Jersey Shore, you already know it’s going to be interesting.
2. M.V.P is back at it again!
M.V.P… Mike, Vinny, and Pauly. During the original series, they were best friends. They were responsible for GTL, Gym, Tanning, Laundry. Now during the six seasons, Ronnie wasn’t part of this group as much and that was in part because of Sammi, who was his girlfriend at the time. Now for the new season, Sammi is no longer there and that makes fans wonder if Ronnie will play a bigger part in M.V.P this time around.
3. All those funny antics will be making a return!
What is Jersey Shore without crazy and funny moments? The cast is known for going all out, especially when drunk. What you can expect to 100% is Snooki falling at least once. In the show, she is known to get a little crazy when she is drunk. During the six seasons, she had managed to get herself punched, arrested and she has fallen off many chairs and tables than you can count.
4. The dances keep getting wild!
Vinny and Ronnie were known for their strange dance moves, from the fist pump to Ronnie’s awkward foot shuffle. Overall they look a little awkward and strange, but still very entertaining. Special shout out to Deena’s “Jersey Turnpike”!
5. Angelina is BACK!
During a trailer for Jersey Shore Family Vacation, it was announced that Angelina from Staten Island is coming back… and ‘The Situation’ couldn’t be more scared. She only appeared for two seasons originally, but her stay was definitely memorable. Her first appearance on the show happened when she moved in… with trash bags. From there she managed to start a fight with pretty much every roommate and they were over her antics pretty quickly. Mike even called her a “Dirty little hamster from Staten Island” the night before she left for good.
Excited? I hope you are because this season, everyone is different which means completely new drama, hookups and to add to the mix… families. The season premiered on April 5th on MTV, so tune in every Thursday at 8/7c for JERZDAYS! You definitely won’t be disappointed!
