Ah, it’s that wonderful time of year again! During Halloween, plenty of people of any age dress up as their favorite characters and spend time with their friends. What is better than picking out a costume that you feel great in and having some fun?

While you may wonder how two months into the Fall semester have already passed so fast, you begin to think about Halloween. To dress up or not to dress up? While everyone may have their choice, they usually do it because they are comfortable with themselves. Now, if you take a moment and run to the nearest store, you find yourself gazing at the package of Halloween costumes. Which one would you pick? Or do you go down the DIY route and spend hours on Pinterest? Would you choose Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, a nurse, a witch, any type of food, or even dress up as a Snapchat filter? Whether you chose to hang out on campus or go to a party off campus, make sure to have a fun, and most importantly SAFE time with your friends! Attend social events in the SAC or a Residence Hall event in your quad. Snap a few pics, have some great laughs, and indulge in some tasty treats and delicious desserts. Although SBU can be very difficult at times, take a break from your studies and have fun during Halloween!
