Why You Should Go: This year’s series includes speaker Africana Studies Professor Zebulon Miletsky on black civil rights and white nationalism, an open mic night, a gospel choir performance, and a psychological discussion on black women’s self-esteem and sexual orientation. 

2. Women’s Basketball Takes on Rival Albany 

When: Saturday, February 4th at 2 P.M. 

Where: IFCU Arena 

Why You Should Go: Every time Stony Brook faces off with Albany, it’s an exhilarating game until the final buzzer. 

3. Department of Music Earfest 

When: Thursday, February 9th at 8 P.M. 

Where: Staller Center Recital Hall

4. Winter Weekend 2017

7. Stony Brook Opera
