If you’ve had a bad day, which all of us do, you probably could more than just a cup of coffee. Read this article of 10 quotes that are uplifting, humorous, and make you smile!

1. “Work hard in silence. Let your success be the noise” 

 

Feeling like no one understands how hard you work? Don’t worry, girlfriend! Just focus on how important it is to work hard, do your best, and be good at what you love. Your fame will soon come.

 

2. “Will it be easy? Nope. Worth it? Absolutely.” 

 

No matter what your “it” is, go for it! You can do anything you set your mind to, and when you’ve accomplished that all the bumps and bruises that went along with it are just stories that are worth sharing.

 

3. “She builds up others because she knows what it’s like to be torn down.”

 

Remember to not only be positive to yourself but to others, too! We’ve all been around a “debby-downer, it’s never fun because we’ve all been put down. Be the change you want to see, the positivity you want to hear!

Don’t feel bad when you “stumble.” Each person has before. Just put a smile on your face, realize the reasons you’re doing what you’re doing and do on!

Don’t be afraid to think your dream is too big, that your aspirations sound “crazy.” You have to start with a dream, write out your ideas, let your mind be open and your heart be strong.

There’s no point in worrying about an exam you just took, something you said to your crush, or what the next day holds. Focus on today, focus on this moment because here is where we are now.

College is a time to be independent, really allow your autonomy to show, and open up doors of the unknown. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. It’ll definitely be worth it to give your curiosity a go.

Indulge yourself every once in a while. Treat yourself to a day of pampering, an extra cookie, or whatever will give you some rejuvenation. You work hard, reward yourself. 

Even though it sometimes doesn’t seem like it’s going to be okay, open your “okay box”, you know that place you put everything is just “okay.” Well take everything out of there, chat with a positive friend, and just get everything out. Once your head is clear, look around you at all the beautiful things that surround you. Continue your day, week, month, as long as you can to be as positive as you can be. I’m sure it’ll be worth it

As a senior psychology major, I've made the most of my time in undergrad and am excited for all the doors I have opening ahead of me.
