For Thanksgiving this year I decided not to go home since the 3-4 hour plane ride and all the guests at my house last year made it a very un-relaxing holiday. While I was disappointed I didn’t get to see my family or my dogs I had a few good friends staying on campus too so we decided to go all out and make a big Friendsgiving meal, and this is the final product! We had mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and green beans, two kinds of rolls, two pies, and enough leftovers to last us the rest of the break. The meal took about 6 hours to make since we had to share a tiny dorm kitchen with four other people also trying to make a meal. We did food prep on a ping pong table and ate in a computer lab. It was an awesome college experience!
