My Most Anticipated Books Coming Out This Spring and Summer

As an avid book reader, I am always on the lookout for new books coming out, so here are a few of my most anticipated books coming out this spring and summer.

  1. “Fearless” by Lauren Roberts, April 8th

When you see this article, “Fearless” will be out, and everyone will post their reactions. The Powerless Trilogy has taken over TikTok, and the theories about the third book keep coming. The two leads, Paedyn and Kai, are reunited but will face a terrible decision. Paedyn’s decision may determine her fate in this ultimate battle of love and loyalty.

  1. “Watch Me” by Tahereh Mafi, April 15th

This is one of my most anticipated reads of the whole year. This spin-off series of the iconic “Shatter Me” series will follow James Anderson, the younger brother of Aaron Warner. The book will continue ten years after the last one. James has caught himself in a situation because he ended up in prison. The book will introduce a new character named Roseabelle Wolff, a trained assassin working for the Reestablishment. The two will be forced to work together in this enemies-to-lovers romance.

  1. “Great Big Beautiful Life” by Emily Henry, April 22nd

Emily Henry is back with another rom-com. This one will follow two writers competing to write the story of a lifetime. The only problem is Alice is looking for her big break, and Hayden Anderson is already a Pulitzer Prize winner. So when the opportunity arises to write a story about a woman no one has seen in years, Alice jumps at the chance, but Hayden plans on making it harder for her.

  1. “Rewind It” by Liz Tomforde, May 20th

It’s another one of my most anticipated books of this year. In the final installment of the “Windy City” Series, this book will follow Rio’s ongoing chase to find love. After years of trying to find love, Rio decides that maybe it won’t happen for him. That is until he accidentally hires Hallie Hart to renovate his house. The two have a jaded past, and Rio’s friends know nothing about it. I highly recommend it if you haven’t read any of the “Windy City” Series yet. It’s one of the best sports romance series I have read in the past few years, and I can’t wait to read Rio’s book.

  1. “Releasing 10” by Chloe Walsh, May 27th

If you have been in the book community, you have probably heard of the “Boys of Tommen” series. About a week ago, Chloe Walsh announced that the next book would be released in May. The book follows Lizzie’s story; if you have read the rest of the series, you know Lizzie has been through a lot. Lizzie wants to be understood, but she carries immense trauma with her. There is someone who cares deeply for Lizzie more than anyone, and that is Hugh Biggs. He wants to be her everything, and Lizzie wants it too deep down, but what’s stopping her? I can’t wait to read this book. It will be the longest one in the series so far, and I’m already preparing myself for the tears to come. If you have not picked up the “Boys of Tommen” series, do yourself a favor, go to Barnes and Noble and get it.

  1. “Caught Up” by Navessa Allen, June 10th

“Caught Up” is the most out-of-the-box option on this list. The first book in the “Into the Darkness” Series is called “Lights Out,” and it took TikTok by storm for its dark yet funny male main character. I’m hoping we get the same with the next one. The book will follow Nico and Lauren. For as long as Nico can remember, he has had a crush on Lauren, but she never knew he existed. Now that they’re older, Lauren seems intrigued by the mystery man she keeps seeing around. I recommend reading trigger warnings before starting this series because it is a dark romance.

  1. “Rose In Chains” by Julie Soto, July 3rd

Julie Soto is known for her romcom books, and now she’s stepping into the fantasy genre. I’m hoping this will be my new “romantasy” (fantasy & romance) obsession because I struggle to find fantasy books I love. The book will follow Briony Rosewood, who is captured when the enemy takes over her castle. She gets stripped of her magic freedom and has to find a way to overcome it. Despite the new world taking over, all hope is not lost. I can’t wait to pick this book up. I love Soto’s writing style, and I’m anticipating this to be good.

  1. “Love Arranged” by Lauren Asher, August 19th

I adore Lauren Asher and her writing. In the third and final installment of the “Lakefront Billionaires” series, Lorenzo needs help with his public image, and to his surprise, his enemy’s younger sister volunteers to help him out. His future depends on her, so he accepts her offer. The two have to fake a date to make Lorenzo look pleasing to the public eye. Soon, Lily realizes she’s not made for a fake relationship, but Lorenzo isn’t fit for a real one. This series has been excellent, and I think this book will be my favorite. If you have not picked up a book by Asher, please do so because you won’t regret it.

There are so many more books coming out this spring and summer. If my list does not interest you, please go search for some other books because there are so many exciting reads coming out this year. These are just the ones that made my list.
