9 Inspiring Rupi Kaur Poems

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at St. John's chapter.

College is a roller coaster ride—filled to the brim with managing a school life, a social life, a family life, and in some cases, a love life. When times of self-reflection are urgently needed, I like to turn to Rupi Kaur, an up and coming toronto-based poet who recently released a book titled Milk and Honey. In her book she includes poems of not only healing, but learning to deal with abuse, loss, and hardship.

1. To shave or not to shave.

2. Trespassing.

3. The one that got away.

4. Love is not supposed to hurt.

5.  Not everyone is worth the tears.

6.  Toxic people destory what they touch.

7.  Physically there but emotionally gone.

8.  You are far more than just beauty.

9. Be kind.

Blessed Be.
