If you haven’t been watching the new season of Masterchef on the BBC, what are you waiting for? It’s been a truly amazing season so far. The highlight for me was when one contestant got it so wrong that Gregg told John not to even taste it.
I love watching it for inspiration, not that I can cook anywhere near their level. However, I wouldn’t say no to eating their food, and the contestants have inspired me to take a few more risks in the kitchen. I will not be wrapping plums in potato dough anytime soon though, as that’s what caused the aforementioned incident.
The way the show is structured makes it great to watch as a revision break. There are built in stopping points in the format where you could pause and get back to essay writing or revision feeling more refreshed.
