Her Campus: Where are your favorite places to shop?

Suzan: I really like Top Shop, but it’s a little pricey, so I get a lot of clothes at Kmart, but that’s only in the summer. Seasonally, it depends. I really like my grandmother’s attic, but that’s not a store. It’s just a gift from the heavens.

Her Campus: Who are your style icons?

Suzan: Betty Draper from Mad Men. I also love the way Taylor Swift dresses, but only when you remove her aura and focus on her skirts.

Her Campus: How has the Skidmore Community influenced your daily style?

Suzan: Birkenstocks. I like those, but I have monkey feet so I can’t wear them. I have had to find ways around Birkenstocks. While I love the Skidmore aesthetic, I can’t conform to it. I also wear more flannel, and I have a sweatshirt that says Skidmore on it.

Her Campus: If you could only wear one article of clothing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Suzan: A pillowcase, because you can do so much with it.

Her Campus: What is your go-to fashion accessory?

Suzan: My Frieda Kahlo tote bag.
