Crystals have been used for years for a variety of different reasons. They serve many purposes, such as decoration and healing They also can invite positive energy and dispel negative energy. Every crystal has its own unique properties and can affect our minds and bodies in a variety of different ways. I have 10 crystal recommendations that have properties that would be beneficial to have in a school setting, whether it is for stress relief, concentration, sleep, or improve your mood. 

  1. Fluorite 

Fluorite is known for steering off negative energy and stress, which is all we could ask for during the school season. This crystal also increases concentration ability and enhances the absorption of information. Fluorite is useful to have near you, especially while studying or if you’re struggling with maintaining focus! 

  1. Clear Quartz

Clear Quartz is an incredible crystal that is used for a variety of different purposes, especially for retaining useful details and memorization. A unique quality about this crystal is that it is able to resonate with each zodiac sign and each chakra. This crystal would be most useful to have near you when studying important concepts. 

  1. Amazonite

Amazonite has the ability to relax the brain and nervous system. A useful quality of amazonite is that it helps with seeing both sides to every situation or problem. Resolution is made a lot easier with the help of this crystal. I recommend using this crystal when working collaboratively with others, as it will help resolve differences and make compromise more achievable. 

  1. Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is one of the most well-known crystals, and there are a variety of reasons why! Rose Quartz is a beautiful, light pink crystal that enhances harmony and peace in all relationship types. It also assists with understanding your emotions, which can also lead to relieving emotions that could contribute to trouble sleeping. I suggest using this stone under your pillow when sleeping to improve sleep quality. When I sleep with rose quartz, I always have really interesting dreams!

Citrine is a pale yellow crystal that aids in increasing confidence and chances of success. This crystal is also known for its association with positivity and optimism. The amazing quality of this crystal is that it helps relieve anxiety or worry. This crystal would be most beneficial on days when you’re lacking confidence in your academic abilities. 

  1. Carnelian

Carnelian comes in a fiery orange or red color that promotes confidence and creativity. This crystal helps eliminate fear and stimulate self-confidence. I recommend having this crystal with you when doing a class presentation where you might need a confidence boost, or when working collaboratively with others! 

  1. Pyrite

Pyrite is a crystal with many properties that would be helpful for school. This crystal is known for promoting determination, confidence, and creativity. Pyrite also has stress-relieving qualities, which is definitely a necessity for school. Another quality this crystal is known for is enhancing clarity, creativity, and focus. I think that this crystal is perfect to have when working on creative projects or long-term tasks. 

  1. Green Zebra Jasper

Green Zebra Jasper is a very unique crystal that is known for encouraging motivation and determination. This crystal also brings courage when it comes to facing tough challenges, which we will likely come across during school. Green Zebra Jasper helps to recharge your energy to complete necessary tasks or goals. I suggest using this crystal when you need help breaking through mental cloudiness, whether you keep it in your backpack or in your pocket during a challenging test. 

  1. Amethyst 

Amethyst is also a crystal essential since it is known as the ultimate stress reducer! This was one of the first crystals I ever got, and I consider it to be a crystal collection staple. Amethyst is also very motivational and enhances productivity, which is perfect for pushing through busy college days. I recommend using this crystal under your pillow for sleep or anytime you feel anxious. I sleep with this and rose quartz at night; it’s a game-changer. Carrying this crystal with you anytime you are anticipating a  stressful situation can also ease any worries! 

  1. Lepidolite 

Lepidolite is a purple crystal that helps clear out negative energy. This crystal is unique because it helps release and recognize old patterns, which allows room for change and growth. As a calming stone, Lepidolite is also known for reducing stress and depression.. The relaxing properties of this crystal can also help with any problems regarding sleep.
