Zara Turtleneck in Black –  Turtlenecks were a memorable staple in the 90’s, and Zara is bringing them back brilliantly with their lightweight sweaters. High neck tops work with an endless amount of bottoms from mini skirts, to highwaisted jeans, and of course overalls. Try pairing a black turtleneck under a statement jacket for a fun, layered look.

Levi’s Denim Overalls – Denim overalls are a must-have in everyone’s closet. With a wide variety of styles such as loose-fitting, short, flare, slim-fit, even satin; overalls can suit every occasion. Although I’m always a fan of variations on the classic suspendered jumpsuit, I certainly channeled my inner Rachel Green with these overalls!

Steve Madden Lace-Up Boots – Ahhh Steve Madden, such pretty shoes, but such ugly prices. Luckily, I found these on a crazy sale at DSW (always shop the clearance rack first). For a more cost-effective shoe, be sure to check out Forever 21’s boot section – they sell heeled lace-ups year-round. Versatility is key when buying footwear, and these boots are no exception!

Carhartt Beanie in Black – Primarily made popular amongst manual laborers for its durable material, Carhartt has more recently become a famed streetwear brand across the globe. The classic black beanie adds an artsy touch to every outfit, and I mean it’s Boston, so chances are you’ll need a warm hat for 75% of the year anyway.

Black Swan Earrings – These hand carved, swan earrings can be found on etsy. The two-piece accessories are faux-gauges, so you can add a hint of rebellion to your look without the commitment or cost of getting a new piercing!
