“For a happy mind and a healthy heart, drink your tea.”

A couple of weeks ago, the Sewanee Business Society held an event and welcomed Tiffany Malapanes as their speaker. Tiffany graduated recently from MTSU and has flourished in her tea business: Positiffitea

When in college, Tiff became interested in all of the natural herbs that could help with anything from a cold to recovery from running. She has been studying and blending herbs for over a decade now, and wants to share her love with those around her. She says, “Our goal at Positiffitea is to create a positive impact with every cup of tea – passing on Positive energy to the tea farmers, producers and tea lovers.” Tiff not only is sharing her amazing vision through her tea but is also showing just how driven a woman can be through her one-woman-team effort! She not only blends the teas herself, finding just the right ingredients for every blend, but also studies up on how she can market her product efficiently!

“Our recipes are holistically focused with the goal to make each blend well balanced so that they taste amazing while still providing the highest possible healing benefits.”

Choices range from green, white, black, and caffeinated teas among other kinds of blends.

Their Tea Lab is located in Chattanooga, TN, where they blend and create every tea by hand. Here are some places where you can buy her loose leaf teas:

Nashville

Husk Restaurants  Thistle Stop Cafe

Thistle Farms  Eighth and Roast Coffee House

Chattanooga

Nutrition World  Chattanooga Sunday Farmers Market

Not in Tennessee? You can still order their beneficial teas from their website:

From talking to Tiff, I found out that she is considering bringing her teas to Sewanee! So keep an eye out for that!
