Every year, the Pantone Color Institute decides what color will be the most popular. They usually do it a month before the new year starts, and lucky for us yesterday was the day they announced the 2015 Color of the Year! The lucky winner is marsala (nooo, not the wine…the color of wine). According to Pantone, “a naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls”. In other words, it is absolutely gorgeous. It is a very deep red, and may remind you of burgundy or maroon.
