1. Excitement

You have been thinking about it all year, picking through your friends to find a roommate, and are happily situated in your dream of getting into the perfect dorm/apartment.

2. Impatience

The housing office has released the dates of application deadlines and plans have fallen through once or twice, but the waiting has you groaning and complaining.

3. Stress

Okay, so your sign-up time has arrived and you’re fighting to the death to get the dorm room/apartment you’ve been pining after. You and your roommates are screaming, trying to make the right decisions.

4. Indecisiveness

If you aren’t a first or second year, it may be the case that you are looking off campus for housing. But it’s Capitol Hill, Seattle and rent wages are insanely expensive for students going to university. Do you spend the time looking for a place or pay to live on campus again?

5. Acute Social Anxiety

Every time you run into any aquaintence, they ask, “Where are you living next year? Do you have a roommate?” You try to avoid these questions because either you are unhappy with where you’re placed or afraid of bragging in front of this person and you either have a roommate or are avoiding this person because you know they want you to be theirs.

6. Contentment

Housing season is over; you’re officially not homeless. Doesn’t it feel great? You’re totally ready for another bomb year at SU!
