As October has come and gone, November is approaching which significances closing in on Thanksgiving break and then for both new and old college students the end of the fall semester. As college students having feelings of being overwhelmed, stressed, and burnt out can occur most during these times. So, with all the negativity and worry that occurs as well as the feeling as though time is running out remember your purpose. What is the driving factor that pushed you to enroll in college and want to earn a degree? Whether it was to escape from your hometown or to fulfill a dream. The key thing to remember is everyone has a purpose in this life and is destined to accomplish something of significance. In college often times with hectic schedules and becoming involved with campus life the why can be forgotten. The main thing is to stay grounded and focused within the goals you set for yourself during your college journey. For those first-time freshmen remember how excited and curious you were about leaving home and starting over in another state or hours from your hometown. The first interaction with your roommate, setting up your home away from home and meeting different people. Furthermore, experiencing your first day of classes where your parents weren’t waking you up for the first time and doing icebreakers for the first day of classes. Through all that remember that you are almost done with your first year of college. Now, sophomores and juniors as you get your majors and begin seeing all the different paths remember that the main importance is to stay true to yourself along your path. As each semester concludes it is getting you closer to the finish line where the opportunities are endless.  Last, for the college seniors graduating rather in December or May hold true to why you began this college journey. Time waits for no one so began to make the most of the last two months as well as into the next year. College can be a rollercoaster at times with highs and lows but eventually, the ride stops. When it finally stops…

Remember finishing with a purpose and having your why will get you one step closer to your life goal.
