We’re playing Hide and go seek
I’m hiding under my bed.
I’m starting to get scared
cause they say there’s a monster under here.
But I can’t lose the game
So I’m hiding my fear.
I see a pair of feet in the closet.
I hope the seeker goes there instead.

The teacher asked for the answer
And I have no idea.

And I’m scared to get called out.

they knew it and shouted it out.

And the house is filled with our laughter.
“It’s my turn to hide mommy!”
And she takes off sprinting.
She has no idea
