Show Yourself Some Love This Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is approaching fast, many people are wrapped up in showing love towards their significant other and forget about the one person that needs the most love...THEMSELVES !

Here are a couple ways to show yourself some love during this lovey dovey holiday....

 

1. Treat yourself to your favorite food Honestly what better way to treat yourself than getting your favorite meal then coming home to get cozy with some Netflix. There are sooo many new food places opening up around the Quad Cities as well so why not even go and explore somewhere new as well. Don't feel comfortable going alone? Grab a couple girlfriends and try some new meals.

2. Meditate  Give yourself some time to reflect on your day and relax. Many studies have shown that just taking 5 minutes a day to meditate can help increase your ability to do different tasks as well. Need more than that? 3. Try Something New No one knows how to do everything, so why not try something new! Try that new kickboxing class, take yourself out to a paint and sip, maybe even try your hand at writing poetry. Whatever it is that you've always wanted to try, just do it! You never know, you could maybe even find your new favorite hobby in the process.

4. Take Yourself Out Get all dressed up to take yourself out for the night. Honestly think about how amazing you feel when you decide to get all dressed up, but don't let a date ruin the night for you.
