How long have you been together? A year and 5 months
How did you two meet? At FCA camp going into junior year of high school

AB: “It was early September of 2014, and although we’d gone out to eat as friends dozen of times, I was still super nervous”
ZH: “We definitely had the 2 for $20.”
How did you two become official?
AB: “Took Zach 5ever! But it was Sunday, December 7. It was after a long day at work and I was in a terrible mood. When I got back to campus, Zach picked me up at Rohlman with a dozen roses with a note that said: “I wish I could buy you a rose for every day that we should have been together, but that’s a little drastic. So, will you finally be my girlfriend?”
What attracted you to each other?
AB: “I just think Zach is super cute. I can be myself around him, and he puts up with me. He looks great in baseball pants and he has a very nice smile. Plus, we have the same childish sense of humor, and he’s the most caring person I’ve ever met.”
ZH: “I thought she was cute even when I didn’t really know her but had seen her around. She knows a lot about sports, and we had been friends for so long even before we started dating. So, basically everything Amanda said and more.”
Favorite thing about each other?
AB: “How quickly he can eat an entire box of mac and cheese, that’s talent.”
ZH: “When she acts like random animals…”
Favorite memory?
AB: “Although Zach and I have new memories every day, my favorite so far is the Cubs/Cardinals game last summer. The Cardinals hit a home run in the 9th inning that landed like five feet from us. I was so excited and Zach was so mad–it was great.” (Zach is a Cubs fan and Amanda is a Cardinals fan)
ZH: “One day last summer, we went out on the river, packed lunch, and just chilled on the beach. Then went to a pizza place in the afternoon. It was so much fun.”
Favorite thing to do together?
AB: “At the end of the day we go to one of our rooms to do homework and just wind down for a few hours. It’s my favorite part of the day.”
ZH: “Playing Call of Duty…she’s not really good, but I guess that’s okay.”
