Cafe Rosso, right in front of the Humanities building and just across from the Village campus dorms, is where you’ll find awesome lunchtime sandwiches and breakfast bagels. They’ve got a bunch of drinks too, in case you need a caffeine fix. When it gets busy during lunchtime, they’ve got both serving lines up and running to make sure orders go out fast.
One thing that stands out about Cafe Rosso is their super-friendly staff. They don’t just have a great menu with everything from sandwiches, pasta, bowls, bagels, pastries, salads, chips, to cookies; they also offer a cool variety of drinks, like lattes, frappuccinos, teas, and sodas.
I’ve tried a bunch of stuff from their menu during the lunch rush, and one thing is, they’ve never let me down. My top pick is the Chicken Pesto Avocado sandwich – it’s a perfect lunchtime sandwich. The pesto aioli sauce takes it to the next level. My friends rave about the Chicken Chipotle sandwich; it’s got just the right amount of spice and it is overall very savory. We’ve also had their breakfast bagels, which are a light and tasty way to start the day.
Don’t miss the Vanilla Latte at Cafe Rosso; it’s a must-try. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and keeps me going in my classes. My friends are all about the Caramel Frappuccino; it’s a fun choice for lunchtime. I’m personally a fan of the Chai Tea Iced Latte; it’s super sweet with a hint of spice. No matter what you choose, the drinks at Cafe Rosso are great for boosting your energy.
Another cool thing about Cafe Rosso is its prices are super affordable which is another reason why it is super popular with students, making it instantly a lunchtime hotspot.
