1. Know what’s good for your body.
Your body is unique to you. Know what foods make you feel good and the others that don’t.
2. Try to keep snacks on hand.
If you don’t have time for long lunches, try to keep a handful of granola or nuts on hand to snack on between classes. With small snacks throughout the day, you’ll be less likely to load up on unhealthy foods at dinner.
3. Fill up on nutritious foods when you can.
Opt for the side of vegetables with your pasta, despite how irresistible the grilled cheese and hamburgers may seem.
4. Treat yourself occasionally.
Find ways to treat yourself occasionally, like getting a fro-yo when you find out you’ve gotten an A on an exam. Don’t indulge everyday, but find special ways to treat yo’ self.
