Do you feel like there are not enough hours in the day? You want to enjoy yourself but also get your workout in, right? I have recently discovered a place where you can do both… at Zumba!

Zumba is a great way to work a sweat and have fun. With great music and intense dance moves, you get a good workout in and leave feeling amazing too. You do not have to be a dancer or have dance experience to do it at all, just go for it! The dances are Latin-inspired and help people openly express their emotions through dance.

The instructor, Amber, makes you feel very comfortable and the class is enjoyable so it doesn’t matter if you can dance (or not). At SHU this semester, the classes are offered Mondays at 6:30 pm for a half hour session, 9:30 pm for an hour, and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm for an hour. They take place in the Aerobics Room downstairs in the Pitt Center.

If you’re still worried about embarrassing yourself, I’ll leave you with the words of Lady GaGa, “Just Dance, Gonna Be Okay!”
