A Quarantine Playlist: 10 Songs You Should Hear

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Sacred Heart chapter.

As I begin to write this, I want to aknowledge that this is my last article for Her Campus as an undergrad at SHU.  I want to thank everyone who has read my articles and supported my writing.

I figured that my last article would be something cheesy, or reflective (since that’s just my personality). However, I decided to share some of my current favorite songs because one of my favorite activities right now is driving around and listening to music.

In quarantine I have been taking a lot of drives just to get out of the house. I obviously don’t get out of my car, but having a good playlist makes all the difference.

Whether you’re in your room or on the road, check these out.

1. “I’m Ready” by Sam Smith & Demi Lovato

HOLY COW! The message of this song, and the powerful chorus will give you chills and make you feel like you can do anything.

2. “Jenny from the Block” by Jennifer Lopez

A true classic. This song will have you jamming out and rapping, all at the same time.

3. “Save Us” by Lennon Stella

I absolutely love this one and honestly the whole album is fabulous.

4.  “4 AM” by Allegra Miles

This is my favorite for sunset drives.

5. “Inside Friend” by John Mayer & Leon Bridges

Yet again, another great jam for sunset or sunrise drives.

That’s it for my explanations, but just trust me on the rest.

6. “Better Give U Up” by FKJ

7. “Lady” by Blake Rose

8. “always i’ll care” by Jeremy Zucker

9. “Golf on TV” by Lennon Stella & JP Saxe

10.  “You Broke Me First” by Tate McRae
