I have been so blessed to have many opportunities in my life and I have loved every single one of them, so I know that I’ll end up loving whatever I am lucky enough to grasp.”

Celebrity Status:

You’re our celebrity this week because of your participation in the Miss USA pageant and your super cute blog, can you tell us more about the pageant? What is your current title?

“Miss Orland Park”

What does the Miss USA organization mean to you?

“To me, the Miss Universe Organization allows women to become more confident, intellectual, goal-oriented, and aware. Competing in a pageant takes a lot of confidence and dedication–there’s a lot of work that contestants put in that makes it all look easy! Representatives of the organization usually participate in pageants in order to advance their personal and societal goals, improve their career, and help make others’ lives better. In my opinion, the Miss Universe Organization allows women to embrace their intelligence as well as their inner and outer beauty, which is something I believe has the power to change the world.”

What is the name of your blog?

“Humps & Pumps”

What sort of blogging do you do?

“Fashion, beauty, and travel.”

What is your favorite place you have traveled to?

“Oh gosh. It’s so hard to pick just one place that is my favorite. I think my favorite place that I’ve travelled to this year has been Cancún. I’ve gone there a handful of times in my life, but this past time was extra special to me. I stayed at this stunning resort called Paradisus and it was just breathtakingly beautiful. I felt like a princess when I stayed there.”

What was your most recent adventure? Anything noteworthy happen?

“My most recent adventure was my 21st birthday trip to Las Vegas. On my first night there, I went to this outdoor lounge called Ghostbar, which is at the Palms hotel on the 55th floor, and looked out on the strip. I was totally taken aback by the city’s beauty; everything looked so exciting and inspiring.”

What are some of your favorite articles of clothing?

“Shoes and earrings! I recently bought this pair of strappy nude Chinese Laundry pumps and I am completely obsessed with them.”

Where do you enjoy shopping?

“For the most part, I love boutiques and Chanel. I like how individualistic items at boutiques are, but I also love the classic looks from Chanel. However, I am a total makeup junkie, so I spend a lot of my time shopping at Sephora too.”

“Breakfast and Tiffany’s and Legally Blonde.”

Favorite Show:

“Shark Tank.”
