Hey,  Hey everyone.

I don’t know if it’s just me but, over the past couple of weeks, my mental health has just been extra difficult to deal with. It’s a lot to have to hold in and try to care for your mental health in private. , so I thought we could have a healthy conversation about our mental health struggles and how we can get through this low.

So, let’s grab a drink–, whether that is a cup of tea or iced coffee or some lemonade or simply just water.

Water would most likely be best because water really nourishes our bodies, and when we are going through mental health struggles, our bodies need a little extra love.

With that said, let’s start.

Mental Health Check:

1: Rate your day 1-10?

1 being the worst and 10 being the best.

2: How are you feeling?

There is no right or wrong way of answering this, you could just say a single word and that could even be a sound.

3: Have you eaten today?

4: Have you drinken water?

5: What is something that makes you happy?

6: What are three things that you are looking forward to?

7: What are things that make you feel better?

8: What is your biggest comfort?

9: Where is your happy place?

10: Who do you feel like you can talk to about anything?

These are just a few questions we can ask ourselves or someone who needs a mental health check!

To answer a few of those questions for myself:

  • 4: No, I have not had water today.

  • 5: Being around the people I love

  • 10: My sister

  • 6: looking at the stars, going for long car rides, Connor’s Birthday

I know some days are a struggle to get through but just know that ick feeling is temporary and there is so much good ahead.

You’re doing amazing.

It is easier for me to say what I dislike rather than what I love because I pretty much love everything except for raw tomatoes.
