Everything Sucks.

In these days & times (and honestly anytime) if there’s something you can do to feel better, you kinda just gotta do it. (Disclaimer: Please be responsible, there’s too much power in that statement). For me, I’ve become a fan of going for drives.

There’s something deeply calming about getting in the car alone, propping a foot up on the seat, cranking the volume on my music, and driving around. Sometimes I stop and pick up a treat because the drive calms me enough to be ✨ spontaneous ✨  or sometimes I just let myself be aimless.

If your soulmate is not a Spotify wizard with a dozen playlists you can mooch off of & you, like me, are not capable of curating a drivable playlist to save your life, here are some suggestions:

driving through a tunnel in an indie movie by Caroline Weikel

indie rock princess by savannah brown

my life is a movie by Spotify

Top Hits of 2012 by Spotify (what a fucking year)

dancing in my room without a care in the world by ella

Other options for maximum “feeling okay” vibes:

– call a friend/family member

– podcasts!! (hmu if you need suggestions)

– roll the window down and time your drive for sunset

– pick up treats for someone else and surprise delivery

– take an emo tour of your hometown since you’re already there

Be safe & best of luck!
