College is stressful and it is easy to get lost in the huge amounts of work you need to do, but don’t forget to take a break and spend a night with your girls! Mental health is a super important aspect of your overall health. Taking a night to have fun and pamper yourself is a must! There are many different versions of girls’ night that you could do, depending on what you and your girls enjoy!

A must-have for any and all girls nights is snacks! Go to the store and stock up on your favorites, whether that be something sweet, salty, or chocolatey! It’s always good to let yourself indulge sometimes and girls’ night is the perfect time to do so. It’s also a fun way to see what your friends enjoy and to try something new. Make sure you eat something substantial too, don’t just snack all night or you might end up feeling a little rough.

There are two main routes to girls nights, a girls night in and a girls night out. Deciding which to do depends on your friend group or what mood you are all in. If you just want a laid back evening then call up the girls and have them over for a quiet movie and spa night. Paint your nails, use a face mask, and watch lots of movies with lots of super cute guys! If you are feeling more adventurous, then you can dress up and go out to eat or you can always find a party and dance the night away!

If you’re like me and love a good movie, then here are some suggestions! How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, 27 Dresses, Legally Blonde, John Tucker Must Die, and The Best of Me, are all super great movies in general, especially for girls night! If you aren’t movie people, you can always spend the night catching up on gossip and each other’s lives or sharing new music.

Regardless of what you choose, a night in or out with your girls is exactly what you need. You will feel so much better and your mental health will thank you in the long run. A little break from studying and homework won’t hurt so don’t feel bad. You’re at college and these are supposed to be the best years of your life, enjoy them. Study and work hard but make sure you leave room for some fun too. Now go and plan the perfect girls night for you and your girls!
