What We’re REALLY Thinking About Vanderpump Rules

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

First off… ALL HAIL LISA VANDERPUMP AND HER GODDESS-LIKE FABULOUSNESS!

Alright, season three is now underway of Bravo’s hit television show Vanderpump Rules, and last week’s season premiere did NOT disappoint. Missed it? It’s fine, here’s a little recap:

Leave it up to Kristen to bring drama to the table the first episode. She’s still annoying, and totally still Tom-crazy.

As a matter of fact, she’s SO Tom-crazy that she heard a rumor about him cheating on Ariana and decided that, despite the fact that she’s dating SUR busboy James, she’s still going get to the bottom of it. Naturally, it wouldn’t be like Kristen to ask Tom about it. Instead, she reached out to this rumored mistress via INSTAGRAM to find out. Seriously, Kristen?

Stassi is BACK from NYC and more smokin’ hot than ever with her short haircut! Ooh la la! *heart eye emoji*

Happy birthday Schena! Maybe it wasn’t your best idea inviting both Tom and Ariana and Kristen and James, but party on! …or you can have another event with another fight (#TBT to Schena’s engagement party when Kristen admitted to sleeping with Jax and Tom punched Jax in the forehead… HA).

So here’s what we’re thinking: KRISTEN, LET IT GO! If you’re in a new relationship, and both you and Tom are happy, WHY are you going to the extreme to ruin it for both of you?  Stop causing drama when it’s not needed! Second, Jax staying out of the drama is literally the first time he’s not involved and trying to impress Stassi – kudos to you, Jax!

#TeamTomandAriana!

What we’re thinking about this week’s episode:

Lisa is ready to, “kick some ass,” and I don’t blame her. She’s obviously unhappy about the dispute at Mixology, and she’s ready to fire her entire staff. Tom’s covered in bruises and had to take a concealer-coated bath, and Schena landed herself some nice stitches in her foot. Why Lisa tolerates this behavior is beyond any viewer, but she deserves a staff that is going to respect her reputation.

Also, Jax finally getting the Stassi signature tattoo covered… with a black rose. LOL, fitting. Tom’s crying selfie video not being drama-related besides an apology to Schena was a buzzkill. I was definitely hoping to see that being linked to something a little more dramatic.

JAX DROPPED THE L-BOMB ON TIFFANY (one of his two girlfriends) BUT HAS CARMEN’S NAME TATTOOED ON HIS ARM. HAHAHA! Remember last season when Jax’s name became a verb? Tiffany and Carmen are getting Jax’d and it’s going to get good! Okay, but on the real- Jax probably could have taken Carmen somewhere a little nicer than the local pizza shack, but it’s fine. Pizza and breakups go hand-in-hand.

Loving the fact that Kristen is getting put in the limelight about all the drama she starts. Lisa is breaking necks and cashing checks by suspending both Kristen and Tom and firing James! OW!

Stay tuned for next week’s episode. Monday’s at 9 P.M. on Bravo!
