What is this chocolatety goodness you ask? Fried cannolis. Yes, you heard me correctly: I said fried! It seems almost too good to be true, but I promise they are both good and true. The cannoli is smothered in whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and powdered sugar, in case you were wondering. These chocolate and traditional ricotta filled cannolis are served right here in the ‘Burgh at a locally owned, small, Italian restaurant called “Legends of the North Shore.” Not only are their cannolis amazing, but this small, BYOB restaurant has some of the best Italian dishes you can find in Pittsburgh. Do not walk, RUN there, but make sure you put in a reservation first, becayse they book up fast!
