Being Single During Cuffing Season as Told by Toddlers and Tiaras

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pitt chapter.

Cuffing season has arrived! For those of you who are new to this concept, cuffing season is the season where everyone wants to find a significant other and do all the fun fall and holiday activities with them – mostly to post about on social media. If you’re like me and you’ve been single for 18 cuffing seasons and counting, you might be just a *little* frustrated or cynical about the whole ordeal. In order to help process these emotions and thoughts about being single during cuffing season, I’ve enlisted the help of some of the girls from Toddlers and Tiaras.

1. When everyone asks you why you don’t have a significant other…

2. When all your friends ditch you to be with their significant others…

3. When someone cracks yet another joke about you being single…

4. When you spend yet another Friday night in with your pet…

5. When you go out and find yourself surrounded by PDA…

6. When your parents give you dating advice just in case someone is attracted to you…

7. When you tell your mom you have a date and she wants real-time updates…

8. When your friends suggest a makeover before you go out…

9. When you scrub off the makeup your friends made you wear…

10. When you realize that trying to look good everyday isn’t worth it anymore…

11. When you come to terms with the fact you’re probably going to stay single…
