FOODIE ALERT: Real Food, Real People.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Pace chapter.

Real Food, Real People. in Huntington, New York has created a name for itself among Long Islanders. I first heard about the cafe by flipping through my Instagram feed. Old high school peers, visiting home, were celebrating their return with an organic meal to fuel their hungry minds.

Real Food, Real People.’s goal is to create raw, vegan, organic, superfood meals that foster a healthy lifestyle for customers. The all-natural menu includes cold-pressed juices, organic ice pops, organic coffee and tea, savory salads, summer rolls, collard wraps, organic truffles, acai bowls, and, of course, everyone’s favorite avocado toast.

Their claim to fame is their acai and pitaya bowls. Each can be served with either a real coconut or a pineapple as a fun add-on. The prices are wallet-friendly, with nothing over $10. Personally, I can’t wait to try their coconut water ice pop.

If you’re interested in healthy eating or are looking for some health inspiration check out the good vibes at Real Food, Real People. For more information, their menu can be viewed at www.realfoodrealpeopleco.com, or take a look at their Facebook and Instagram pages, at Real Food, Real People. and realfoodrealpeopleco.
