Strolling through the
stone pathway in the woods
someone seems to have lost
her way.
She is surrounded by a maze of
pine and oak trees and a crisp
scent of the woods after
a nighttime of heavy rainfall.
Every so often she becomes
distracted
by the crunching of leaves
beneath her feet and
her attention is captured
by the floral beauty she encounters.
Although she sometimes
strays off the trail
she always manages to find
her way back
knowing it is a promising path ahead of her.
She stays driven and motivated and
eventually reaches her destination.
She has finally found
her way
and maybe one day I will too.
