Everyone who attends SUNY Oswego has passed this building to get to Culkin Hall to discuss financial aid. A lot of people, however, may not have ever stopped to appreciate the beauty the Hewitt building has on their way by. The leaves literally sprout right out of the architecture, receiving their growth from the (little) sunlight Oswego gets. This aspect of the building fits the earthy, sustainable vibe that SUNY Oswego has going for it and helps connect passersby more to nature. It’s not often that you see buildings covered in nature, making this a unique part of the school campus.
