Those damn kids

that are almost in their 20’s

are so lazy.

They never do anything

besides go to rallies to

fight for their rights.

But they are so stupid and too young to understand,

so why are they so depressed and upset?

It has to be those damn phones,

you know the devices where they can

get bullied or threatened just because of their look?

Well, we didn’t have to deal with that,

that’s why we’re so great!

They are just kids, they don’t know anything.

They know the quadratic formula and angles of a triangle,

but they don’t know how to purchase a house or car.

Well, that’s not our job to teach them that, it’s the schools.

With all the classes these kids take,

why are they so stressed?

All the science classes,

all the different math classes,

history and english.

The gym courses where we force kids to do

activities out of their comfort zone in order to pass.

Why are these kids so damn disrespectful?

We yell at them to do better, but they turn their backs on us.

They voice their opinions, but when we shoot them down,

they just argue back.

It must be the movies they watch.

All of our films were so politically correct,

with all the blackface and sexism.

But it has to be the violence within them,

or the inappropriate content with leading ladies.

Or maybe it’s these stupid songs nowadays,

especially those two chicks rapping about a WAP.

The kids these days

they are our future, but we always shoot them down.

One day us “boomers” will leave them

with a horrible world,

and we were part of that destruction.

These “kids” are going to be lawyers,

teachers, scientists, engineers,

They are going to make their names known one day.

So why do we as a society always shut down

these kids?
