Dessert in a Mug

I have a confession: I crave dessert pretty much every single night. But, most of the time my sweet tooth ends up unsatisfied. After a long day, savaging around the kitchen to find something is not always successful. Then I discovered mug desserts, which is exactly what it sounds like: A single serving of dessert in a mug. Some of the recipes I have tried are almost too easy to whip up and can take less than 5 minutes. All you need is a mug, a microwave, a spoon, and few ingredients. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

  1. Gooey Chocolate

A classic mug cake recipe and a personal favorite of mine.

  1. Nutella

What is better than Nutella? A Nutella mug cake of course!

  1. Chocolate Espresso
This mug cake is a great substitute for a cup of coffee

  1. Berry Cobbler

This mug cobbler is particularly yummy when you are craving something light and fruity.

  1. Cookies & Cream

How could you go wrong with cookies & cream? As an avid white chocolate and Oreo fan, this recipe is a keeper.

  1. Chocolate Fudge S’mores

No description needed, the title and photo speak for themselves.

  1. Chocolate Chip Cookie

What I like about the chocolate chip cookie mug cookie is how moist it is. It is very cake-like and fluffy but still has all the qualities of a homemade cookie.

  1. Chocolate Salted Caramel

A rich indulgence of flavors that compliment each other nicely.

  1. Chocolate Peanut Butter

This mug cake reminds me of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup but in cake-like form. It is very delicious and very addicting.

  1. Coffee Cake

A good mug cake paired with a cup of coffee in the morning, or whenever you need a “pick-me-up.”
