Meet Madison Hare, this week’s campus celeb! She’s a hardworking student and campus representative for PINK.

HCO: How did you first get involved with PINK?
I first heard of PINK as a sophomore by just attending some of the events on campus. I was looking to get an internship and decided to apply to become a campus representative for the following year. After a few rounds of interviews, I got the job!
HCO: What type of work does that job entail?
It is a lot of social media and event planning. My partner and I manage the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts for PINK at the University of Oregon. We also plan and execute events about every two or three weeks. Typically it will be either big events on campus or at local businesses. In addition to all of that, we are in charge of promoting PINK’s latest products and details through social media competitions by giving away freebies to the winners.
HCO: What has been your favorite part working as a campus representative?
It has been an amazing experience and has really shown me what I want to do with my career. One of the coolest things about being a campus rep is that PINK sends all the campus reps to their headquarters in Columbus, Ohio every year for brand training. I got the chance to meet all of the other reps from different schools and learn a lot about Victoria’s Secret and PINK.
HCO: What do you do on your free time when you aren’t working as a campus rep?
I’m a member of Pi Beta Phi and I’m currently working at Pine PR, which is a full-service public relations agency on campus.
HCO: What do you hope to do after graduation?
I want to work in PR, either at an agency or in-house at a company. I am really open to doing anything, but I love social media so I hope I can incorporate that into my work for my career.
