It’s not always easy to find good makeup that isn’t trying to rob you blind. If it is cheap, your face might pay for the consequences. However, after swatching, swapping, and sampling, here’s a list of a few products that don’t give your face the heebie jeebies at single digit prices.

1. Wet n’ Wild MegaLast Lipcolor

Amazing pigmentation with a semi-matte finish, Wet n’ Wild upped their lip game and now their lipsticks have become some of my favorite. Their ingredients are made to keep your lips hydrating with Vitamin A and E oils. Had an eye on that MAC lipstick for a while? Don’t fret, WnW has a ton of dupes. I didn’t even get to the best part: They’re 2 freaking dollars. Check out amazing shades like Stoplight Red (above), Purty Persimmon, and Sugar Plum Fairy.

2. Milani Brow Fix Kit

Doing your eyebrows isn’t just about the occasional tweeze, it can really enhance your face if done right. You can do yours with this brow kit that comes in various shades for your hair color. Each set comes with a highlighter, two brow shades, and a couple of applicators and brushes. At $6.99, it’s definitely a steal for all that!

3. Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser

Only recently did I really read into how important primer is for makeup. It helps the makeup stay on and blend better for a more flawless finish. Face primer for the most part is relatively expensive. Well, until now. Weird name aside, this is a good primer that doesn’t make you feel guilty about the price. The primer is a clear gel that when applied on the face dries into a matte finish. Get yours at any drugstore for $6.99.

4. Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara

Every girl who wears mascara is familiar with the iconic pink and green tube. The original Great Lash Mascara was released in 1971, and it is arguably the greatest selling mascara of all time (statistics say that a tube is bought every 2 seconds worldwide, not even kidding). Lots of Lashes Mascara from the Great Lash line has a funny little brush that goes a long way. It creates length and volume without turning your lashes into a big clumpy mess. Missed a few lashes? Not a problem. Because of how short it is you can reach those few on the edge without compromising your look or your wallet. Find them at any drugstore for $6.99.

5. Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner

Yes, this is the third Maybelline product I’m listing, but with good reason. A good pigmented black gel liner is hard to find, but look no further with this one. It’s soft, pigmented, and even comes with your own brush! Perfect your cat-eye looks with this amazing liner that could most definitely compete with all the other high-end brands out there. And at only $6.99.

6. NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush

Unfortunately NYX isn’t a brand that is as easy to access since it isn’t always available in most drugstores, but if you’re near any Nordstrom Rack or Ulta, stock up. One of their best products is their powder blush, which comes in a variety of shades to match your skin tone. Check out shades like Mocha, Pinched, or Rose Garden at $5.99.

7. NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Liquid Foundation

When it comes to my face, I am willing to spend a little more on foundation or tinted moisturizer so that I don’t get any weird side effects. NYX’s matte foundation gives a medium coverage that like the name says, really does stay matte. One thing is that you should apply the foundation quickly because it does dry! Get yours at only $7.49.

8. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

Are you just a beginner on lipstick, but still want some great color? Or maybe you want a product that you can use quickly. The Kissable Balm Stain has a crayon-like application that gives a soft minty feel when applied. Colors can range from sheer to very pigmented and can be layered as much as you want. The stain pushes the limit at $9, but it’s definitely worth the price since it doesn’t use to too much product and seriously lasts forever. You might like the colors Darling, Rendezvous (above), and Crush.

9. E.L.F. Makeup Brushes

I’m only going to say one thing about these brushes: They’re a dollar.

10. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque

I am very serious when I say get your hands on this mask ASAP. This is probably my favorite mask of all time because it nails so many different problems I might have with my skin. I recommend putting it on right after you get out of the shower when your pores are opened up. Once it dries on your face, you can visibly see the impurities being sucked out of your pores! Have a huge pimple that won’t go away? Just put a little of the mask on it before you go to bed and you’ll see results in the morning. You won’t be able to stop rubbing your face because of how soft it is. Be warned that it does dry out the skin a little bit, so be sure to moisturize right after. I know for sure that it’s sold by Walgreens, Ulta, and Sally’s Beauty for $3.99.
