5. Crunchy Chickpeas
These require slightly more work than the others, but they are well worth it.
Instructions: Cook a 15-ounce can of drained chickpeas in an ovenproof skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon each of cumin and smoked paprika. Cook for 2 minutes. Season with salt and then bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees Farenheit.
6. Ants on a Log
For this snack you can either go with the classic ants on a log recipe of celery, craisins and peanut butter, or you can try some different variations such as these: Hummus and Olives, Cream Cheese and Sundried Tomatos, Almond Butter and Craisins, or Guacamole and Black Beans.
7. Craisins
8. Cheesesticks
9. Cucumbers with Lime Juice and Salt (and Chili Powder as needed)
A good roommate taught me this one, and though at first I was suspicious it really curbs your appetite when you just don’t know what you want to munch on.
10. Dark Chocolate
Everybody deserves a treat every once and a while, so here’s yours. Grab a bar of dark chocolate for that slightly healthier kick and enjoy. Maybe even get one with fruit flavoring to feel extra healthy!
I hope this list gave you some more snacking options to add to your busy day! Comment below what your favorite snackis, or if you decide to try one of these.
