Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg Will Have a Show Together

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Old Westbury chapter.

Go ahead- scream, cry, laugh, rejoice; do whatever you must do to get the excitement out of your system. Okay, you good now? Let me tell you more about this amazing show.

It’s a damn cooking show on VH1 called Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, and they have guest stars joining them every week while they cook and eat.  Spoiler alert: It’s rumored that DJ Khaled, Robin Thicke, 50 Cent, and Bella Thorne will be making appearances!  According to the network, we can expect a “half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits.” It’s pretty much a dinner party like you would see on the cooking channel, but it’s on VH1 and involves two of the greatest people on the planet. Rachel Ray ain’t got nothing on Martha and Snoop.

You may be wondering how the fluff this happened… Well, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Martha have been close buds (pun intended) for a while now, and got even closer when they had the pleasure of roasting Justin Bieber together. Not only did they roast the Biebs with one another quite well, but Martha had Snoop on her show to make green brownies in the past. Obviously they get along quite well.

And in case you don’t think the goddess of home wear and cooking is badass enough to be friends with Snoop, don’t forget that she went to jail. In fact, she studied Spanish while incarcerated and brought a damn pillow to sit on at court. If that isn’t stone cold and deserving of street cred, I don’t know what is. If she’s still not boss enough, just watch her while roasting; she’s obviously very equipped at playing in the big leagues.

Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party premiers November 7th at 10/9c on VH1, and is guaranteed to certainly be one of the best shows that has ever aired on television. The show will be unscripted and Stewart says it will “redesign the traditional food show competition.”  I mean, what could be better than watching Snoop and Martha interact? (Nothing, the answer is nothing).
