Are you always trying to find a new skin care routine that ACTUALLY works? Do you profusely watch beauty gurus on YouTube making DIY face masks? How about walking in Ulta smelling every exfoliating scrub they have wondering if that will be the one? Look no further, I have some beauty products that I swear by and work with all skin types!
1. St. Ives Blackhead Clearing ($3.64 at Target)
This scrub is one of my all time favorites. Plus it smells amazing! The bottle says the formula is supposed to clear blackheads and unclog pores. Luckily for me, I have never gotten a blackhead, but maybe this is why! Your face isn’t only soft after washing with this, but you have a really nice glow to your skin as well once dry.
2. Clinique Clarifying Lotion ($16.00 at JCPenney)
Clinique has a great reputation already but wow! This is a top-notch product. Usually, the Clarifying Lotion comes in a package including “Liquid Facial Soap Mild” and “Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion”, but after using all three for years I have realized that just the one product gets the job done for me.
The bottle has a big “2” on it to represent that it is a combination skin care product; not oily nor dry. Although, they make the product for all skin types.
3. ClearProof Deep-Cleansing Charcoal Mask by Mary Kay ($24 on Mary Kay Website)
This mask is amazing! You can apply the mask with a brush, sponge, or your fingers. I love this product especially because charcoal is such a trendy ingredient right now, but a lot of masks can cause damage or hurt your skin. Luckily though, this mask is not a peel-off, but a wash off mask, so no pain is involved. You only have to leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes 2-3 times a week, making it convenient. Truth be told, I only use the mask when I’m breaking out and it helps reduce pimple size and the time that it is on your face.
4. Dirty Works: The Ultimate Detox Mud Mask ($10-16 on Amazon)
This mask is timeless. I have been using it for years and probably will for many more. This product has blueberry and willow bark extract so it smells amazing every time I open the bottle. This mask only takes 10 minutes to leave on before you wash it off and like the other products, leaves you glowing and radiant. It also does a good job of leaving your skin looking matte by removing unwanted oils from your face.
