Ohio University’s biggest day of the year is near! The Halloween Block Party is Saturday, Oct. 31st, 2015, and it is sure to be a great one. If you’re new to the party, or just need some friendly reminders, we’ve got you covered. Take it from your fellow Collegiettes and stay warm, be funny, and keep safe!

“Trust what your girlfriends say and stay close together.” -Julie F.

“Wear something comfortable!” -Abby C.

“Dress for warmth… just because everyone else is half naked doesn’t mean you have to be too.” -Sarah K.

“Stay with your friends! More than likely you won’t have cell service on Court Street.” -Hayley R.

“Funny > Slutty” -Liz A.

“Have a central meeting spot in case you do happen to get lost from your friends.” -Margaux A.

“If you have the opportunity to use the restroom, take it. You don’t know how long it will be until you find another one. Also, eat a real meal before you begin drinking and don’t be surprised when you see your professor on the streets. Most of the Ohio University faculty and staff sign up to be a Green Jacket Volunteer for the night.” –Sydney G.

“If you’re buying for someone who isn’t 21, cops have been known to follow you from Kroger to your house to make sure the person carrying the alcohol from your car into the home is 21. Otherwise, you get in trouble for serving a minor and the minor gets into trouble. I don’t know how you would would word that but FYI to everyone as well!” -Samantha P.

“Don’t pee outside. Or anywhere that isn’t a toilet (the first because cops, the second because duh).” -Megan M.
